Canine Adoption

Tryna is a gorgeous red nose Am Staff who likes most other CALM dogs, but doesn't do well with hyper, younger puppies. She would prefer to be the only dog in the house, but she can handle an older canine sibling. She also is a VERY protective dog, and as such, she needs a family who understands that she is going to bark, and rush to the door when someone knocks or rings the bell. She truly believes it's her job to protect the household, and she just doesn't understand why that is an undesirable trait to some people.

I Love: to play with children. I do so amazing with every child I meet, but I dont understand that when grown ups try to play with my kids, that they aren't hurting them, and I really need to let them play....
I get along great with: everyone I meet! I do pretty well with other dogs, as long as they aren't in my face 24/7.
I would rather not: be crated. I do well in a "free roam" house situation, so I dont really NEED a crate, and I truly prefer not to be put in one.
I need: an active, loving family who will take me for walks, hikes, runs, and anywhere else they can think of, but who doesn't have a super busy house with people coming and going all the time. It really stresses me out, and makes me upset to have so many people in and out of my space so often....

Sparks is a big, beautiful male, who desperately needs someone to be his Alpha. .

Sparks does have some kennel aggression, however, once he's out of his crate, he's very sweet. When crated, he will growl and bark, and try to appear vicious until he learns that you aren't going to hurt him, and that he's NOT scaring you.

Personality: Sparks is a very sweet, playful boy who would love a family with kids who will play with him all day long! He's learning fetch, and tug-of-war, and would love to continue that "training" with a family of his own!

I would rather not: be kenneled, ever...I do however NEED to be crated (atleast at first) when left alone, otherwise I get very curious about my surroundings. However, I do okay when left in a closed room instead of a kennel.
I need: an active family who will take me through training and help me learn that I'm not the boss. I really need a family with an Alpha pack mentality, as I seem to understand that really well.

Milo is a very excited, happy little boy who loves to play, and run around. He, unfortunately, is a fence jumper, and so he needs a family with a fence taller than 4ft.

I Love: to chew on my toys, race around the house and yard, and play play play!
I get along great with: everyone I meet!do well with most other dogs, but I do try to be dominant. I have no idea that I'm a little dog!!
I would rather not: be alone for long periods of time. I do so well with people and animals, I'm such a social pup, I'd like to spend my days with my family.
I need: an active, loving family who will take me for walks, hikes, runs, and anywhere else they can think of!

Belle is a little shy girl who needs a fantastic new family to love and play with her. She came in with her brother, Prince , and we'd like to see them be adopted out together. They have both lived the country life for a long time, and would do very well out on a farm, with some flock animals to play with and work. They do very well with Chickens, and goats, and could easily learn to work cows. She doesn't know not to try to herd the horses as well.....

I Love: to spend time with my brother, Prince. I would love to go to a family who can give me a job to do like working the farm animals, or anything else OUTSIDE!!
I get along great with: Everyone and everything I meet . Ido very well with other dogs, and dont have a problem with cats.
I would rather not: be adopted out without my brother. We have been together for a very long time, and he's very attached to me..as I am to him...I dont want to leave him alone without me!
I need: an active, loving family who knows what it takes to raise a cattle dog!!!

Smiley is a big lovable ball of energy. He has no idea how big he is, and as such, he's slightly clumsy. He is a very friendly boy, and has no issues with anyone!

Athena is just a little fluffball baby. We think she's a chocolate lab akita mix, but we honestly have no idea since she was a stray. She loves to play, and give lots of kisses, but she does NOT appreciate being crated! She'll bark and cry, just to make sure you know she's there!

I Love: to snuggle!!! I'm just a baby, and I love to be held and loved on!
I get along great with: everyone I meet! I really like other dogs! and cats are just my size, so we get along well too!!!
I would rather not: be crated, I hate my kennel....but I'm learning to behave in it, so that I dont use everything I find as a chew toy! I am just a puppy after all, so I'm still teething!

Lucy is a sweet little girl who needs someone to take her for long walks, and with a big yard for her to exercise in, to help her get down to a healthy weight. She is rather obese right now, but that can easily be corrected with the right diet, and an active new lifestyle.

I Love: to snuggle, and be held.
I get along great with: most people. I can be shy at first, but once you give me time to warm up to you, I'm a very sweet, loving little girl.
I would rather not: be put into a very busy, loud home....I prefer the quiet, and loud noises scare me....
I need: someone who's willing to be patient with me through my shyness, but also willing to keep me active enough to get back to a healthy weight....

Hunter is a very sweet, although sometimes shy little boy. He loves everyone he meets, and will give you kisses, as long as you rub him behind the ears. He's very very playful, and we'd love to see him go to a home with another dog to keep him occupied!

Little D is a shy, but sweet boy, who loves attention once he's warmed up to you enough to come and ask for it. He's playful and carefree when he's got other dogs to play with. He does beautifully with cats, and loves to play with children. He's got a great personality, are you the one to help him come out of his shell?

Also, He likes to play dead, and sleeps on his back....almost all the time! (see the picture below) He loves having a Den area of his own, and may dig a small hole/burrow in the yard against a fence or wall, so that he has somewhere comfortable to lay.

I Love: to rough house with other dogs, and with my humans. I do great with every other animal that I've met so far, including horses, goats, and a very stubborn mule!
I get along great with: EVERYONE!! I am alittle shy at first, but once I get comfortable, I'm such a love bug!!
I would rather not: be crated. I do decently well when kenneled, but I prefer to free roam.
I need: an active family with a big yard, and room to run and play. I'm a good boy in the house, but I'm much calmer when I have somewhere to run my energy out!
