Canine Adoption

I was originally adopted from Dreampower in 2003 as a puppy. Now my human is getting on in years and doesn't have time for me. I am looking for a new home - is it yours? I do need to be the only animal in the home.

Hi my name is Shilo. I have had a hard time of it so, Shy-Shy fits me much better. I am a very small German Shepard mix and about 6 years old. I am a very loving girl, but I need you to go slow with me to build my trust. The home I am looking for needs to have lots of love and patience. I like my foster family's Chihuahua, their 10 year old, and I think the black streak that runs by me is a cat. I was surrendered to Dreampower by my owner who is now in a nursing home. My partner Daisey Mae just got adopted. I would love to find a home where I can play and love my owners. I would love to run in your backyard and play with you. I know how to sit and shake, but I get so excited when it might be time to go for a ride, sometimes I run out the door before it is time. My foster mom is trying to teach me some patience, but I am just so happy about life! You never know what exciting thing might happen next! I have always laid with my people on the couch and bed and really just love to be with people. I now have a best friend that is a cat. I like some dogs, but because I am a bit older and sometimes a sensitive boxer I really do not want to have young children around. I am looking for someone who understands my breed. I was rescued from out east where I was kept in a cold shack. I am now walking on leash and I do know sit command (I really like the treat that follows). I do tend to try to be the dominant dog, so I might do better being your only one. I am a very sweet girl who would love to become part of your family!

Hi I’m Brandy. I am a beautiful rare Red Merle Border Collie. I am full of energy and raring to go. Unfortunately I have not had a lot of training, so I am in desperate need of a family that is willing to work a lot with me. I love to play, but right now I’m having some issues with other dogs while I am on leash. I will need a home with a fenced back yard so I can run and play and burn off some of this energy. If you are ready to put in the time to train me and give me a job, I will be a loyal family member to you; after all I am a Border Collie.
